I performed a full reinstallation of the OneDrive application Neither resetting nor reinstalling OneDrive resolved the excessive disk I O issue on my system I can confirm I have used Git repositories within OneDrive folders and mklink j for other purposes within my OneDrive setup since October 2024; the problem only manifested in March 2025
