Canvas down during finals week : r UCSD - Reddit Unfortunately, Amazon Web Services (which Canvas uses for hosting) has been experiencing some issues and it is affecting the UCSD instance of Canvas as well as hundreds of other universities With this issue, it's sadly out of UCSD's (and to a large extent even Canvas's) hands while we wait for the Amazon Web Services issues to be resolved
