Seeking Advice on a 327 Federal Magnum - Ruger Forum The 327 is pretty much a 30 Carbine round with a skinnier case and a rim added It is my EDC round in a nice little J-frame sized Taurus 327 When it sends 100 grains out the muzzle at 1300 fps, that little revolver will get the attention of whatever it is fired at for certain, and everyone around as well as 45k psi makes quite a boom
LCRx 3” in . 327 - Ruger Forum Unfortunately, in addition to having just blown a load on other things, I don't see how I can justify a SP101 in 327 FedMag when I already own the S W 632-1 in 327 FedMag, and a DW 32M in 327 FedMag At least the DW has 4 and 8 inch barrels, kind of an odd creature but the SP101 would just be almost identical to the S W except over $500
Anybody actually shoot . 32 Longs out of the . 327? | Ruger Forum The other, main reason is the 327 Mag seems like it has HUGE potential as a HD and CCW round, as well as being a sweet shooter I don't know if it's the acoustics of my backyard, which faces a small mountain, but 22 LR's seem much louder then the 32 Long WC's and 32 H R Cowboy rounds I fire back there in my Nagant revolvers
LCR 38 or 327 - Ruger Forum Yes, with the 327, you can also load with 32H R, 32SW short and 32SW long The latter two are anemic defensive rounds Supplies of the 327 fed mag and 32H R is sparse and it ain't cheap when you do find it Personally, I find the 327 fed mag downright painful to shoot from the LCR The 32H R has much less recoil and is more pleasant

SP101 . 327 - Questions after firing - Ruger Forum I just talked to Ruger They do now have the re-engineered cylinder, and the SP101 327 is back in production I will be sending mine back tommorrow, and I will ask for either a new SP101 327 or the replacement cylinder, whichever is faster The customer rep indicated it would be only about 2 weeks
Ruger LCR 327 vs 9mm Flip side the 327 LCR holds 6 rounds whereas the 9mm LCR holds only 5 rounds Flip it again though and the 9mm uses moon clips theoretically providing quicker reloads depending how much you practice My recommendation is you get your hands on both and try them out if at all possible
LCRX . 327 - Ruger Forum My household has a 327 Federal Henry Rifle, a 327 GP100 (the Blued 5 5 inch half lug model Lipsey's put out this year), a 4 2 inch SP101, an LCR that I actually bought for the purpose of proposing to my now-fiancee (obviously she said yes actually enjoyed the uniqueness of proposing with a gun rather than a ring)

Tell me about the SP101 in . 327 Fed - Ruger Forum The 327 is a 50,000 psi chamber pressure rnd and even with the 32 bullets it can produce a lot of recoil in a light revolver and does with 100 115 gr bullets After 30 rnds of 100 gr ammo from the SP-101, with the original 2 piece grip, my hand went numb for 2 days causing me to get a rubber Hogue grip which made the gun much easier to shoot
