Is Chrono Trigger a good game for introducing someone to RPGs? Portal-Kombat I never really liked turn-based RPGs, but I gave Chrono Trigger a chance just for the heck of it I was mostly impressed by the music, character animations and story scenarios like the trial and escape from prison As far as the combat is concerned, it’s not particularly fun, but the advanced techniques, critical hits and combination attacks always kept things fresh enough
