On Cloud shoes versus Hokas--any experiences? - Triathlon Forum . . . The On Cloud shoes to me are a clear step up in overall quality, take a pair and look at them closely and you will probably see the difference as well I didn’t particularly like the On for myself as they didn’t fit my foot well, I wanted to because I recognized the quality right away but just couldn’t make it work

Clown Shoes Everywhere Now (slowmans 2011 Hoka reviews) Other shoes have come in with overall clown like thickness (3 8 rear, 3,0 forefoot), but by using squishy foams their shoes are unstable (@Slowman in his 2011 reviews talks about turning ankles previously and being positively surprised by how the early Hokas would ride and that was because they were built for trail running)
