Basecamp creates routes with only start and end - no waypoints The route follows all the waypoints as I have created them when I calculate it When I look at the route in Basecamp and on my Zumo XT, there aren't any waypoints There doesn't seem to be any issues with the navigation, I'm really just ultimately navigating to a final destination point Attached is what the route properties look like in basecamp
Chromebook Basecamp - Adventure Rider Maybe you can run Mapsource instead of Basecamp? I have been maintaining an old windows XP laptop that is dedicated to my Garmin stuff running mapsource Maybe now I can upgrade that 14 year old laptop for a new modern chrome book?
How do I sync basecamp across multiple computers? I have Garmin basecamp, and three pc's that I use at various times of the day to plan my trips I know that it is possible to use onedrive to sync the important info across machines and I know that it is possible to screw it up and make a mess of years of stored data
garmin jargon, tracks vs route vs map, etc. (basecamp?) Basecamp can somewhat blur the distinction because you can arbitrarily insert track points and convert between the two However a route will have turn by turn directions, and points are represented differently You can convert a track to a route, and select the number of shaping points
Basecamp replacement? - Adventure Rider The nice thing about something like basecamp is it shows all your tracks routes on a map You can organize them all into folders and show what you want on the map
How to create route in basecamp?????? | Adventure Rider I switch to a trackpad for BaseCamp allowing me to do everything with gestures Once the initial loop is created, use the selection tool (pointer) to grab your route at any spot and drag it to a point that better defines your route You may have to do this a few times but with practice a complex route can be created very quickly
Route created in Basecamp not same on device? - Adventure Rider every route from BaseCamp (BC) or Mapsource (MS) is recalculated in the device Only exception: BC and the device use the same GARMIN map With different Garmin map versions or non Garmin-maps (even if the maps are exactly the same in BC and on the device) routes are always recalculated
Base Camp with roads - Adventure Rider BaseCamp for Windows has a useful toolbar (View>Toolbars>Detail Level) that makes it easy to balance drawing speed with detail level I'd expect the Mac version to have something similar Highest is good for seeing every road, Lowest shows only major roads but is faster for viewing large areas
