Google Chrome: the userdata\default folder has disappeared I checked and this is true, the "Default" folder is no longer there With further investigation, I think that the default profile is now in a folder named "Profile 1" I did some googling and could find no information indicating that Chrome webpage had changed from using "Default" to "Profile 1" Can someone in the know point me to any relevant information? Thanks
Transfer all Chrome data from one profile to another Hi all, our company is undergoing a rebrand and would eventually retire our old email addresses I currently have a Chrome profile set up using my soon-to-be retired email address How do I transfer all the data (bookmarks, settings, etc) I have in my old Chrome profile to a new one that's linked to our new email address?
Changing local cached files directory This might take a few minutes This will typically be under %LOCALAPPDATA% Press the Windows Key + R to open the run window and enter %LOCALAPPDATA% and click ok run That will open the Local AppData directory for your profile Open the Google Folder Rename the DriveFS folder or delete if you are confident all your data was sync's uploaded
