Brand Ranks air filter test | BobIsTheOilGuy If the Fram Ultra air filter from Walmart is better (as Fram claim it is) vs the Fram basic filter tested here, then that is clearly the best buy on efficiency and longevity and price Just need to examine it to make sure it's quality has not gone down like their oil filters They should test the German and Japanese air filters

what oil filter is currently the best ? | BobIsTheOilGuy Mobil 1 Extended Performance filter seems easy to find but idk if they updated the product in many years my vehicle fits the 3717 fram filters or the WIX 57356XP or MOBIL M1-110A + all the other brands in the same size Fram 7317, you still have time to edit I use ProSelect 27356 or Fram DL7317 for 5k kms
FRAM Extra Guard Filters | BobIsTheOilGuy Fram Orange filters have served millions of vehicles for decades without many isssues I'd use with confidence I do believe there are better filters for the same money however: Ed True I think I'd buy something better for the same cost However, the Tough Guard (TG) and Ultra (XG) are a good step above the Extended Guard (EG, orange can)
Fram XG9972 and CH9972 oil filters contrasted | BobIsTheOilGuy Two filters I recently got at a local Walmart Fram cartridge-type Ultra and Extra Guard; both in style 9972 form (fits many late model Toyota Lexus 3 5L engines) The Ultra: - does have wire backing; this must be old stock as the "new" Ultras are apparently lacking wire backing per many
