Please explain secret key to me : r 1Password - Reddit When you log in your 1Password for the first time, it saves your secret key locally so you dont have to type it in every time it needs to be authenticated But, behind the scenes, it still combines those 2 together I cant seem to find where I read this, but that seems to be how it works

Is 1password worth it nowadays? : r 1Password - Reddit An actual, dedicated password management app is a necessity for me It doesn't have to be 1password, but I can't go back to letting Chrome or iCloud or whatever manage my passwords Those systems feel primitive (for lack of a better word) compared to 1password There's no way to organize logins, use tags, save stuff like secure notes and QR codes and things like that Plus 1pw is 100% cross
