Birth Story | Bungalowlanealc A dedicated, light-filled school room was added in the late 1970s, and the layout has not changed since then The nursery school remained in the Nosworthy family for many years, changing names from Mrs Sunshine's to Mrs Nosworthy's to Blanche's Ranch to (finally) Bungalow Lane ALC
Daily Rhythm | Bungalowlanealc 9:30 Arrive and hug your friends (or not - consent is important!) 9:45 Set-the-Day time Everyone in the community gathers in the common room to make plans for the day and add offerings to the community schedule 10:00 Spawn Groups OR Change Up Meeting Spawn is a smaller group meeting, within which intentions for the day and a connection activity are shared Change-Up is an all community meeting

Facilitators | Bungalowlanealc Bungalow Lane ALC is a manifestation of that dream My most important qualification as an Agile Learning Facilitator is that I love and trust children My job is not necessarily to teach, but to partner with kids in their learning to scaffold and support their interests, trusting that the 3Rs will take care of themselves (spoiler alert: they do )

OPEN HOUSE - Bungalowlanealc PARENTS! We will have a brief presentation about Agile Learning Communities, Self-Directed Education and the Bungalow Community Ourfacilitators and some of our children will be on hand to answer questions, give you a tour and share what makes our community special
Regular Tuition | Bungalowlanealc All children must be able to use the bathroom independently Parent participation is required to qualify for the Village Rate There are lots of ways to do this: Participate actively in the community (e g , community clean-up days, Town Hall meetings) Be “on call” 1-2 days a month to cover for an absent Facilitator (9:15 am - 2:45 pm) Donate supplies, snacks and resources as needed
