I've heard from multiple sources that the way Kirby made the mangled, glitchy textures of EatEoT Stages 4 and 5 was that he fed a bunch of samples to a piece of software, which then generated hundreds of hours of audio, and from there he picked out the stuff he liked The trouble is, I haven't heard anyone actually identify this software by name
