Ulva in Refugium | Reef2Reef When I harvest the Ulva I find both the stiffer, wrinkled, stiffer habit and the flatter more lettuce- like which tears easily I prefer to keep the tougher habit, thinking it is a healthier plant (just guessing) Your Ulva looks good, nothing obviously wrong, though that could change with 0 ppm NO3 Your Ulva could become stressed and go bad
Ulva infestation options? | Reef2Reef I finally beat my ulva infestation a few days ago I dropped nutrients by running my fuge longer so the ulva wouldn’t be able to keep growing I also stopped feeding any herbivore food nori sheets and my tang eventually started eating the ulva, he didn’t for awhile 2 months after its worst point its now completely gone

Ulva intestinalis is found in just about all the oceans of the world from tropical to temperate seas This algae is quite possibly the best algae to grow to reduce NO3 if there is a better algae for our needs then I have yet to encounter it
