Best Portland Posts - Reddit The most commercially successful band from the State is Everclear, though I would argue the Decemberists have had a bigger cultural impact, but both of those bands are from Portland Who would be the most successful band from Oregon outside of Portland I would say it’s possibly Typhoon since, even though they’re now based in Portland they’re originally from Salem and have a lot of songs
