Inbox shows 1 unread message - Gmail Community For weeks I seem to a phantom unread message in my personal gmail inbox I cant seem to locate it and used the search email box: unread and nothing shows up Anyone seen this before?
Gmail inbox shows 1 unread message, but if I click inbox it wont show 5 This worked for me Go to the Settings icon - choose settings - click on Inbox and near the top is a box called Inbox type - you can select 'Unread first' from that menu - scroll down to save your changes and the missing emails should appear
