Is there a way to tell if my Bushmaster was pre Freedom . . . - AR15. COM I have an email sent out to Bushmaster asking when mine was made based on serial number and model number but I'm wondering if anyone knows exactly when Freedom group bought out Bushmaster and the quality went down hill Mine is at least 6 years old, bought it at a gun show used Is there a serial number database or anything else that I can reference? A 2 5-10 optic should be good enough for the ranges the 450 Bushmaster offers I have a Sightron S-TAC FFP 3-16x44 on my Ruger No 1 in 450 BM It's overkill but I wanted something with an illuminated FFP reticle and it was on sale for a great price at the time
