Whats so bad about running a lot of benchmark tests on a SSD? I was running CrystalDiskMark on a couple of SSD drives Both the exact same drive, but one seemed a little slower than the other for some reason I probably ran the CDM benchmark about 30 times on each SSD Now I've seen some posts where people say you shouldn't run a lot of SSD benchmarks - maybe just run it once Why is that?
[SOLVED] - SSD bad CrystalDiskMark results - Toms Hardware Forum It would seem as though (based on CrystalDiskMark) you might still be booting off of the slow drive, and that the SSD was merely added as an additional drive, based on those CrystalDiskMark results? Perhaps you cloned the drive, but, are still booting from the spinning drive, and merely need to select the faster SSD drive within BIOD boot
CrystalDiskMark does not detect my SSD. | Toms Hardware Forum I have windows 7 on an HDD and Ubuntu 16 04 MATE on the SSD, GRUB2 is installed on the HDD and the SSD gets booted from the HDD I run CrystalDiskMark as Admin but only the HDD shows in the drop down list Both the BIOS and windows detect my SSD though [it shows up in device manager]
