Automatic Promotion through IPPSA : r army - Reddit As a TPU SM, you need to do the following: ensure all of your records are good to go (your STP matches the ARB which matches what is in iPerms) VALIDATE your board preferences in IPPS-A until you get selected This is crucial as that mileage indicates how far you’re willing to travel for your promotion Note: promotion to E5 is not automatic
