I have been doing 3 but when I actually checked the directions…it said 2 x a week is the advisable maintenance regime recommended Also, when we leave that “pea shaped” amount by the vagina - do you insert it a bit or just leave it at the outside entrance? I was doing very well on the 7-10 day initial treatment (pea shape estriol cream applied directly to the entrance to the vagina) but when I completed the 10 days I saw the burning on urinating start up again I’m on the “3 day a week” plan - forever I assume - but what to do do on those “off” days to limit any discomfort such as burning, etc I definitely wasn’t having success with

Estriol cream takers. . . . 2 or 3 times a week? - patient I’m referring to the “pea shape” amount by the vagina… I was doing very well on the 3 times a week but then I cut back to 2 times as the directions (Smokey Mtn brand) seems to push the “2” times over the “3” but now I’m starting to have urinary urgy issues again Ugh! I find that estriol applied directly over urethra = urge misery. I’ve read that many spread estriol (or whatever cream) liberally after they place the pea shaped amount into the entrance to the vagina They save some and spread it all over the genital area up to the clitoris and back to the perineum including covering the urethra with it Anyone else get any problems soon after doing this, involving urge and frequency to urinate?
