About Us - Project Joy Usa Project Joy was founded Valentine’s Day 2014 and inspired by 9-year-old Joy who wanted to help a peer and her family who appeared to be homeless Our first organized event was a TNT (Teddies N Toiletries) Drive at Joy’s elementary school in partnership with PTA
Youth Program - Project Joy Usa Youth build confidence, social skills, leadership, public speaking, mental health strategies and learn to collaborate Each cohort ends with a pitch showcase where youth share their passion project and how AI can be used to benefit the community Youth earn a stipend during this program which is sponsored by LA County Department of Mental Health

Baby Boutique – Project Joy Usa We provide for free the essential baby supplies to reduce stress and help birthing families as they welcome home their new bundle of joy
Community Joy - Project Joy Usa Project Joy is the co-backbone supporting agency for LA County’s AAIMM (African American Infant and Maternal Mortality) Prevention Initiative We coordinate ongoing community action team meetings in the Antelope Valley where public, private, and community members work together on strategies to support birthing justice
Family Resiliency - Project Joy Usa Project Joy offers ongoing workshops with the goal to strengthen and equip the family unit Effective Black Parenting We are certified facilitators for the DCFS court-approved 12-week program, which is centered on cultural norms, and parenting styles and introduces new parenting tools and strategies for a healthy parent child relationship
