This is a small scripted web page that I have built for those that play on my private Minecraft server Its purpose is to provide a simple set of instructions to easily create linked pairs of portals between the Overworld and the Nether, without leading to strange linking issues, such as multiple portals all going to the same place

Please help me square it with personal experience (1 0 SMP and or single Survival): built a portal, stepped thru to Nether, immediately stepped back and arrived somewhere else entirely; in another world, followed a clue found elsewhere and built two portals side-by-side, and was able to go and come back as expected per the clue

Is it possible to calculate the coordinates of the portal in the nether with that info?

Yes, the Chunkbase link is safe, and I've used many of the tools on that site As IronMagus said, it's a great resource But just for the record, AMIDST also has Nether Fortress location capabilities, but it is a program that you need to actually download and run
