Asus cards are worth it when you buy used card years after their hayday In this case more expensive models with better VRMs and power limits make these cards more fun for not much price hike Otherwise this $2800 Astral card might not be too bad if it will be available for purchase in normal store versus getting scalped Palit for $2500 I think that is the whole idea - more expensive cards

Who is thinking of buying these rtx 4070 super from the lower segment such as palit, gainward, inno3d, kfa2, pny, msi, zotac for such cards (with two fans) undervolt is very useful

It's really odd that they chose to start with Palit and Gainward 5090's though Like, why go out of the gate with some 4th or 5th tier brands? If I were in the business, and I couldn't launch them all at once, I'd start with the Founders Edition block, then move on to Asus as the second one Then I'd go for MSI or Gigabyte tied for 3rd

Should I avoid them or go for it? She is going to be getting: AMD Phenom II x4 955 Foxconn Destroyer mobo Palit GTX 570 Sonic Zerotherm butterfly cooler Case Criteria: White Window Can fit the cooler and video card has places for purple accents to be painted on isn't super expensive ($100ish max)

Update 01 13 2025: I updated this because my previous solution didn't work all the time, and I had to test out why (which is why I'm updating) It had to do with MSI Afterburner not saving settings correctly, and also that the overclocking scanner might be auto-overclocking even after applying

Grabbed a 3090 from one of my buddies Kinda disappointed with my first big PC upgrade purchase in over a decade Temps seem a bit high this pic is in the Baldurs Gate 3 menu: According to some Google searching my temps might be high I just installed Afterburner to get the fan speed

Palit RTX 3080 GamingPro NED3090019SB-132BA Now I just compared other graphics cards and their pictures from the techpowerup database and I think the cards I will list below all use the reference PCB PG132 from Nvidia and should be compabtile with the recently announced EKWB waterblocks
