The problem is, most don’t read the pop up messages and then are shocked and or mad that something they wanted didn’t give the outcome they were expecting The thing to also keep in mind, (using your example) discordance IS listed in the magic group So it’s in their face that discordance is considered a magic

Couple this will use of "Whisper" as often as possible and you can get most skills on your pets up Its still a grind, but with practice its fairly effective for most pets and skills If you want to train healing and discordance at the same time use the Dimesauruses but make sure you stand back far enough to not get hit with the poison blast

That guide is a bit dated And having music over 100 doesn't make you gain slower specifically, it just makes creatures easier to bard overall and that makes it more difficult to find creatures to gain from at GM skill and above
