Ok, thanks to ChrisP58 in another thread, he suggested the possibility of changing a circuit design with a single Primary GDT and offered the Center Tap GDT He gave me a simple explanation which is understandable, for a guy like me ChrisP58,The two NPN transistors are internal to the PWM

Somehow I thought this was a push pull, but its a 2 trans forward, the gdt is wired in phase so both trans's are on at the same time D7 and D7' conduct when the igbt's are off to reset the trans So maybe as pointed out check the o p diodes, then maybe transformer coupling, the gdt should be trifilar wound, and then perhaps the compensation

Hi I intend to use a MCU pin to control, via a npn transistor, a 9V DC relay coil which switches on the primary of a transformer (inductive load?) of a device Let's say the load takes up either max 4A 240VAC, or 5A 110VAC) On the DC end, I know it is recommended to use a flyback diode

I have this noise on the output at pin 1, obviously when I reduce the gain the noise level also reduces, is this just characteristics of the LM358 I am using and do I need to order some TL072 to try?
