AOL com spam email This is getting out of control and I am not sure how to block all this spam email I receive 5-10 emails a day directed to my first name+1 or 2 letters @aol com The sender and "my"aol email is always different and I have no idea how to block this I do not have an aol com email, why do I keep receiving these emails to my gmail?

The correct settings are: imap aol com, 993, SSL TLS, OAuth2, email address smtp aol com, 465, SSL TLS, OAuth2, email address Check the authentication method (OAuth2) and that the AOL account is sending on the smtp with a matching User Name, not another or 'Default' smtp

I have figured out that Live Mail supports AOL and others It will let you control all the different email accounts from one place and will make AOL act like "real" email with link forwarding, etc

The smtp aol com server works with OAuth2, but it might also work with normal password app password My question was whether a @verizon net account can send through smtp aol com with OAuth2 I think to avoid confusion you should do tests with a single account at a time in a test profile
