Atlas OS Windows11 newly came out so I don't recommend installing it for like atleast 3-4 months use the AtlasOS 10 if you want performance It's better optimised

I think the project is currently way too heavy-handed and risky Yes, they remove a lot of bloat, but they also decided to remove Windows Defender, disable Windows updates, and disable browser updates too All of these are seriously bad ideas if the computer you're installing Atlas on is your daily gaming machine Like, I get you may want to remove the OneDrive app if you don't care about it

For those that would usually download pre-created images: don't ever use a pre-customized Windows ISO Always use an official one with verified hashes, and then apply customizations after installation This will ensure you don't miss anything shady that gets snuck in Projects that modify your existing ISO are also ok (like this one) given that you properly vet the changes it's going to make
