Jotunheim is a great amp when you have a balanced cable If you don't (and also don't intend to get one) just get an Asgard 3 I'd also not pay more than 250$ for it (completely shipped with everything) since you can get a new Jotunheim 2 for as little as 400$ already If going for the Jotunheim 2, it's pretty much a future proof amp

All of them have varying degrees of performance sacrifices when paired with various headphones What makes me a fan, and probably others, is that the Jotunheim 2 competes and often beats its competitors all the way up to $1,200 at only $399 That certainly makes me a fan and should also make others that are purchasing in the under $1,200 price
