It has nothing to do with your computer How old is the document? If it is older than the last time the Beams feature was updated (Official V28, Nov 2021) and the document was somehow not upgraded, then that will be the reason Quick fix is to use an older version of Beams Other fix is to report a bug (from the help menu)

@john_mcclary - one way you can tell is to open a Part Studio in the "old" version, right-click the tab and select "Show code" This will tell you the version number (the latest at the time of writing is 1174) All Part Studios get upgraded automatically as part of a system upgrade, but some occasionally get "held back" at an older version if there were any upgrade issues detected

Yes The standard library import would have an option to always use the current version That would eliminate the need to change this import in each document within a workspace Whenever a new version of a workspace is created it would be using the latest version of the standard library
