Hey Reefers, I was planning to purchase the Avast Marine Plank, but I noticed they’ve released a new version the Mini! It definitely caught my attention since I have a smaller tank, and I’m worried the full-sized model might look bulky or take up too much space Has anyone here tried the Mini

I added blades to my Avast based on radio controlled boat props I don't think the Avast motor spins past enough to matter much

I don't use the Avast feeder but if it takes two minutes to kick on and run it's cycle and you're trying to line up the feedings with your powerheads, then either remove the Defer command or start the cycle for the feeder one minute sooner

- What food do you put in your avast plank? | Reef2Reef
I have the avast marine plank auto feeder and it addresses a unique problem with freeze dried food in that it rehydrates these foods before feeding to the tank
