Does anyone know how you would work this in DTS? I don’t know if I should purchase airfare and then seek reimbursement up to the allowed amount (I’m willing to pay any difference) or if there is a different but established method for this

The alternate if you don’t have a GTCC is to have your AO fill out a central billing account explanation letter “But Priceline is cheaper” it does not matter because there is agreements with these hotel car rental etc that says we’ll go through them directly through DTS The price hike is to mitigate and mission cancellation changes

SATO can book you on foreign flights It all depends In fact, if the cost mission is justified, in DTS, under the flight selection options page, you can scroll all the way to the bottom and select "TMC assist" and type which flights times number you prefer Note: You will get flagged for not taking US carrier during authorization approval I usually put no other options available in the notes

Contact your unit ODTA (DTS person) If they can't figure out why the approvers can't sign, they can submit a TRAX support ticket for you or they can coordinate with the Wing LDTA for additional assistance Others have mentioned reviewers needing to take action

The automated non-availability generated from DTS isn't an actual Non-A but you can still absolutely stay off base as long as the cost is the same as the on-base rate or if you don't mind paying the difference You could try submitting the fake Non-A from DTS but you run the risk of having it disapproved by a competent approving reviewing official
