by twey user it seems to be correct In basic position the lever is in the middle and the spring is hidden When pres the shutter in bulb mode the lever moves up (to the right on photo) and the end of spring will jump out from bottom There is smaller secondary plastic lever linked with main lever that moves together that is below the spring

So if I shake it it moves but just if I really give it a proper one and it only moves a bit and I can shake it back where it was I don’t want to touch it and dismantle it in any way so if you guys say it won’t affect the outcome then I think I leave it where it is and if it would bother me or would move somewhere where it would bother me in

The handle is loose and moves freely up and down It won't start counting down, but the depth of field preview still works fine Would anyone know by any chance what is the likely cause of this problem? If you have a manual for the MX, it should have a paragraph or two on using M42 lenses with the adapter The MX mount has an arm at about 2 o'clock that fits into a slot on a K-mount That slot has a tab that moves with the lens's aperture ring That's how the camera meter knows where the aperture ring is, so the meter gives the correct reading

Sometimes it depends on focus distance set on lens (if back lens part moves) The TC + lens will have a resulting F9 aperture (2x magnification means also a 2x reduction of light fstop) , autofocus will not work reliable unless in very bright daylight - most cameras focus well in dim light up to f5 6
