The A C switch and light work, and 10A fuse is OK The magnetic clutch isn't working, probably because the refrigerant has all leaked out in the 10 years the system hasn't worked, and the low-pressure switch isn't allowing power to the compressor The idle kick-up system is probably OK, and I have a spare vacuum switch just in case

So I'm looking at tons of different air compressors and notice that some are rated at 135psi Max, some 155psi, some even 175psi If compressor A has a max psi of 135 and compressor B has a max psi of 155, is it really something I would notice for standard home garage use? What's really driving

The two refrigerant hoses and one drain hose feeds through a hole in the firewall with a rubber grommet to the compressor and condenser I would remove all the components without cutting them, and sell them on Craigslist or epay, someone wants A C ! $$ Note that the YJ under dash A C unit will fit perfectly on a CJ, also

The ARB compressor is not a continuous duty pump, and lucky if it does >1CFM over 20psi (read: You'll kill the little turd in a hurry filling a 5 gal tank) I burned up a QuickAir II in about a year, providing air for an ARB locker, 2 gal tank, and refilling my club's tires at the end of the day Best bet is go with a York (or similar) compressor Many, many, write-ups on the Web, and this BBS

The most obvious way I know of to know if a compressor has one is that when it is working correctly, you will hear a short hiss of air immediately after the compressor kicks off This is the air pressure being released from the cylinder and the short tube leading to the tank

Im looking to put on board air for my truck I however do not know how to make it all fit in my trucks toolbox and Im looking to make it happen I want to be able to run some air tools if needed on the trail and to air up the tires if they are low
