I've been having issues lately with the "Use a proxy server" setting Initially whenever I would set the slider to "off" and close settings, it wouldn't save I found that the issue had to do with the UAC being enabled After I disabled UAC, the setting could be preserved temporarily, i e , it would revert to "on" after restarting

In LAN settings in internet options, I can't change any of the options, if i select the checkbox to automatically detect the proxy settings, clicking the OK button does nothing In Proxy settings inside windows settings I can toggle "Automatically detect settings" but it reverts as soon as I back out So proxy settings aren't saved

at least daily, and the time it happens is random, my browsers will not connect to the internet and it tells me it cannot connect because of proxy settings in the image below circled in red are the two settings I have to constantly go back and change in order to access the internet it just keeps changing them back for some reason
