so im about to pull a trigger on a new skidder to replace a cat 257 i have a chance to buy a tr310 case i demoed it and liked every thing on it just looking some real life reviews on it could find to much o the internet about them i install a lot of fiberglass pools and general excavating 90% of the time im the operator they only big thing

The Kubota specs very close to the Case 310 and offers the hydraulic controls rather than EH I have owned a Case backhoe and mini excavator but also own a Kubota tractor The Kubota is a 2001 and other than maintenance, the only repair was to install a new battery in 2013 The Case mini blew a seal in the hydraulic drive, what a pain to fix

Can't see them very well from pics I took so I used a magnet to collect some of the flakes For reference the magnet is about 2"x1" It's wet because I dipped it in water to try and get rid of some of the dirt that stuck to it In the picture with the dirt, the metal flakes appear as little white or gray specs

The case dealer is 2 hours away, the Kubota dealer is 15 min The kubota access door is nice, but not something that will sale me I do like the case being lower and wider, because I may have to go sideways at some point on a pretty steep slope, that is why I am concerned about the front and back casters being one thin piece to keep the track

I bought mine right from a Case dealer in PDF Form for $90 Canadian Go to the Case Dealer Document Management Center, you will put in the type of machine, Case TR310, Then under type put in Service Manual, Under Language put in English, Under region put in North America, Under product line put in Skid Steers Compact Track
