RingTailCoon Unfortunately your suggestion to suspect the mouse is not correcting the problem, as I said in my post I have CHANGED the mouse to a DELL mouse which is NEW but appreciably LARGER than the mouse I was using and I cannot see the wheel being faulty or the the actual mouse
