I used to love Frys before they shut down because they had almost everything Even Radio Shack was decent too Now that Frys is closed and since the nearest Micro Center is in Los Angeles, what other stores offer a similar variety of PC parts and electronic components in Sac or nearby? Some have mentioned Best Buy but they are just okay

My MIL let my wife and I know that the Frys at Indian School and Miller is going to be closing She’s pretty well connected when it comes to local real estate dealings so we have reason to believe her word for sure

We have babies at home too and haven't done a full grocery run in person in a while My wife was doing frys but says Safeway is pretty good too I think their return refund policy is pretty good too Sometimes we get everything through pickup and then one of us does a quick produce only run at sprouts

I believe that location used to be Fred Meyers and was rebranded to Frys shortly after I moved to tukee circa 2002-3 It used to have a lot more stuff esp hardware It was like a mini Ace hardware but they took most of it out They did go back and add back more non grocery stuff, mostly clothes maybe a decade ago

Frys also hasn't been keeping up with the times They have always had a problem with reselling returned computer parts I have built 3 computers using frys parts over the past 15 years and all 3 took multiple trips to frys and returning parts On the side of electronics they have an abysmal microchip section
