However, when I tried to convert a downloaded stl file to G-code, I received the following error: Production exception: java lang ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1 I think this has something to do with the height of the 3D object it is trying to produce the code for Does anyone know of any good 3D stl to G-code converter programs?

Hi all, We all know we can convert STL to g-code and send that on to a 3d printer Wondering if it would ever be feasible to convert from g-code back to a design file like STL? Has anyone done anything like this?

Also, under print settings> advanced> resolution- if you have a very detailed STL file, leaving resolution set to zero can slow down or even cause slicing to fail Set that value to 0 02 or some similar small value and slicing will speed up
