Microsoft recently released the "New teams only" policy which is supposed to enforce New Teams as default and uninstall Classic Teams from a device We have done some preliminary tests in our environment and have seen mixed results, sometimes classic Teams uninstalls and sometimes it doesn't, even after a reboot

To manage this experience, use the Teams admin setting “UseNewTeamsClient” under “Teams update management policy” and select which users in your organization can see the toggle and get access to new Teams
