For the 2024 X5 xDrive50e, they now allow you to upgrade to the Adaptive M Suspension This is the preferred suspension in my understanding from reading this forum It is comfortable (and less “floaty”) but also has a sport feel in different modes Better all around suspension, plus the brakes are upgraded Good for a family and very smooth

BMW's adaptive suspension makes a very noticeable difference between all the modes I tried a base 40i non M-Sport back to back with a loaded 45e M-Sport (with air suspension standard) Body roll was very similar It's just that the 45e is heavier, but both felt as sporty as a giant SUV can reasonably feel It's definitely no 4 series coupe

I'm considering a new x5 i was lucky to have a loaner for about 6 days it was a 2012 35d with the normal suspension The at first seemed firm but tolerable the tire pressure was set at 34 psi front and back I looked in the door jam and the recommended tire pressure was 34 front and 42 or 43 rear i can't remember exactly
