If it’s the cluster server then who ever is the admin owner of the server needs to check their configuration settings on the map they are looking to transfer onto and check that the setting for transfer download character and Dino are on, as having these off may cause it to force a new character on switch (I’ve never switched that setting

Nitrado doesn't explicitly state what CPU they run their servers on their website which is a red flag since you don't know if you're truly getting the "latest generation hardware" I recommend joining this subreddit's Discord server to see a good list of hosting providers that run better hardware
