As a pp said Big Lots gets in either last years models or furniture that they can no longer sell for whatever reason Example: The truck delivering the furniture to the store was in an accident and the store got paid by the insurance company and therefore can not sell the furniture as new even though nothing is wrong with it

Some things are better quality than others Last year our Big Lots had really nice Broyhill closeout stuff A friend of mine bought a solid wood coffee table and end tables from Big Lots about 8 years ago and they are still going strong I would be more likely to purchase furniture from Big Lots than other big box stores like Walmart or Kmart
