I understand, but I want to know if "from dusk to dawn" is an established phrase I think it's not; I can only find "from dawn to dusk" in dictionaries I'll try using "from dusk to dawn" in a sentence: e g I couldn't finish my work yesterday, so I had to work from dusk to dawn, meaning that I didn't sleep at all last night
