Definitely not something I’d see Nintendo adding to the Switch 2, especially considering Nvidia is involved (which seems to be confirmed thanks to that giant Nvidia leak from a while ago) Also I’m 99% sure Nintendo has a deal with Nvidia stating they have to use Nvidia hardware in their consoles for 25 years after the Switch’s release, though I could be misremembering

The switch 2 benefit will be better hardware, but thats what your PC is for Im not playing the witcher 3 or apex legends on inferior hardware when i already have a PC By now there should be a decent enough catalog of switch games to keep you busy before new developers even take advantage of the switch 2 hardware

Absolutely this If there's any gimmick, make it a more robust online experience where we can get more third party games, even if they are older If I could play RDR2, Ghosts of Tsushima, Cyberpunk, and Fallout 4 on my Switch 2, I'll be very, very, very happy I knew there would be great Mario, Zelda, and other Nintendo house titles on the Switch

I think I worded this question incorrectly, and the buzzwords of “Switch 2” and “playstation 4” are throwing people off My questions are more about the state of handheld gaming What is feasible for the next gen Nintendo handheld? ps4 level of computing, which seems like the answer would be no

If you look at LPDDR5 x64 modules (Switch 2 is almost certain to have a 128bit bus, so 2 modules), 4GB is EOL at all the major memory manufacturers 6GB LPDDR5 6400 are some of, it not the most, high volume module, meaning the best price per GB

Tbh Switch 2 does a much better job of communicating its a separate device than Wii U did I don't know anyone who has really confused a Playstation gen If they call it a Switch Up or something like that then it'll be a true disaster Although if they called it a Switch Advance in homage I would be pretty happy with it
