I just started using RetroArch because of the Black Frame Insertion feature, but there is a big issue; my monitor will flicker every couple seconds with it enabled I have a LG24GM77 running at 120hz, it does have a ULMB-like solution but I am not currently using it

I managed to enable via cfg, the Black Frame Insertion option (it seems to be missing from gui on android), so that playing 60 fps games with the display set to 120 will be smooth and nice And it actually works rather well, for the most part

So if I launch a game now and turn on BFI it first just resulted in a black screen when going back to the game I quickly figured out this can be solved by turning V-Sync back on in RA itself and then, while the game is of course darker, the motion-fluidity is unbelievable

After tweaking a bit, I found that the IPS screen gets heavy flickering and image retention after some minutes playing with BFI turned on in Retroarch The image retention issue (see viewtopic php?t=7539 ) is something common on all IPS 120hz, and ROG Ally suffer from it
