What are the most likely causes of the battery light staying on in the instrument cluster? I just replaced the battery last week w a brand new one (not because of this issue) The light came on after I got it back from the exhaust shop I did the homemade mil-eliminator for the O2 sensor (new one of those as well) and that solved the check engine light from going cat-less but now I have

Either way, you SHOULD convert to a 3G alternator instead of the 2G that came on both of those It's a very minor wiring mod, but it's worth it, especially if you install a 130A version

I was wondering what supercharger will bolt onto my 5 4L Triton I dont really care for the Roush and was looking at the KB superchargers The main reason why I ask if a 03 04 Cobra Supercharger can fit mine is because the throttle bore is massive and I can get an oval Accufab for it and flow a hell of alot more then stock round throttle bodies Another thing, I like KB's 2 2L and 2 4L

You should also inspect the alternator's large connector for signs of heat - that style (2G) is known to burn vehicles to the ground But the alt is NOT the cause of the no-start

The 2G alternator - fire hazard The '93-02 red SCDS was built wrong, and should be changed to the black revision The distributor-mounted ICM was made wrong, and needs either replacement, or relocation Even Ford made some mistakes (but not many), and the KS was one of them

The alternator looks like a 2G, which is a fire hazard The ECT appears to be damaged taped back together, which could be the sole or primary cause of the rich condition
