select 'afdsfd The Education Centre' union select 'asfn sads 3234 The Hospice' union select 'ab 445 The New World' select SUBSTRING(name ,charindex('The',name ),(LEN(name)-charindex('The',name ))) real_name from @mytable Think more deeply of performance terms Wednesday, November 23, 2011 5:59 PM 0 Sign in to vote Hi, Same issue i am facing Here
- Windows Networking - Port 445 Only? - social. technet. microsoft. com
Microsoft uses port 445 (SMB over TCPIP) as a more secure alternative to NetBios over TCPIP 135-139 If NetBIOS over TCPIP is enabled, the server system would be listening on all those ports
- protocols ports for windows file sharing on a firewall
Specifically, the port and protocol for windows file sharing translated into what is required to implement this on a hardware firewall The question has nothing to do with the builtin windows firewall
- Cannot access file shares with CNAME SMB, STATUS_DUPLICATE_NAME
Every client can access the shares with A-Record FQDN or IP Address
- Edge Server Certficate does not match any of the supplied FQDNs
This seems to be saying that the FE has a prequalified list of Edge server it can talk to and this certificate FQDN isn't on the list I know you add an authorised list of FE servers to the Edge server, but I'm not aware of anywhere you add the edge server FQDNs to the FEs other than for federation and media paths
- Disable NIC to be used by Active Directory Service DC
It seems that the AD publishes the ISCSI IP´s to be used by clients though The AD seems to work fine but while investigating some firewall logs - regarding other issues It came clear that clients try to connect to the ISCSI IPS via Port 445 (already disabled DNS on the nics - the clients tried to connect via port 53 aswell) The ISCSI nics are not registered on the DNS too unchecked
- Rebuilding a WSUS with existing database
Hello, I was hoping to get some information on rebuidling the wsus server with existing database files
- HyperV configuration file - social. technet. microsoft. com
Can someone explain to me the format of HyperV configuration files? I see that is a xml file that stores all the configurations of a specific machine There is also a folder that has the same name of the configuration file and it has 2 files underneath, one BIN and one VSV What are those files for? Do I really need all these file in order to restore the VHD file successfully? Thanks Tuesday
