The AK Mars might need even more tweaking depending on tolerances Would be cool to see someone successfully drop in a frt 15 without mods, but I wouldn’t count on it

Nothing wrong with a used, quality AK as well, as long as it hasnt been butchered or horridly abused I dont believe Wasrs are worth the current asking price, but they are solid rifles after a quick 20 minute once-over with a file set and a baked rattlecan refinish The Foxes are quite nice out of the box, however I would not reccomend Zastavas due to the myriad weird problems ive seen first

Yugo AK patturn rifles and pistols also have a bolt hold open feature on the safety arm which is a notch cut out where the bolt carrier can be pulled back and anchored This is good for range shooting where range masters like to see bolts back when range is cold Most AKs do not have a true last round bolt hold open feature
