- How do I use Asio4all?? - Cakewalk Forums
ASIO4ALL is not the best solution to your problem It's a bandaid fix at best If there's a problem with multi-core performance on your DAW, you need to resolve that problem ASIO4ALL "wraps" a card's WDM driver to create an ASIO driver It suffers from slightly higher latency than the stock driver (This can be measured with the CEntrance tool)
- [Tip] Uninstalling ASIO4ALL solved audio weirdness crackling dropouts . . .
ASIO4ALL is a hardware independent low latency ASIO driver for WDM audio devices It uses WDM Kernel-Streaming and sometimes even more sophisticated methods to achieve its objectives In order to successfully run ASIO4ALL, you need:
- Asio4All no sound in headphones - Cakewalk Forums
Asio4All no sound in headphones I have been having trouble with Asio4All on my laptop that sometimes the headphones are not available as output and the only solution was to reboot the pc I found this this advice that may be the solution: "Right-click the Windows speaker icon in the task bar and select 'Playback Devices' then Disable your sound

Asio4all I've been trying to get low latency with my built in soundcard but as we all know its pretty much impossible, until i found asio4all It worked with my softsynths and vsts It was also found in FLstudio I've been trying to get it to work with sonar 6 However Sonar does not find it Is there a way to guide sonar to the asio4all driver
- Multiple Fast Track Ultra 8R Via ASIO4ALL | Cakewalk Forums
ASIO4ALL 'wraps' WDM drivers and generates an ASIO interface to 'the external world' That means that is you configure asio4all with multiple audio cards, then if you select asio4all in your DAW, it will see just one asio driver Internally, that unique driver will include the aggregated devices
- Focusrite vs. ASIO4ALL: Who to believe? - Ableton Forum
To this day I'm still amazed that ASIO4ALL got as big as it did and that somehow a whole generation of new musicians thinks that is the best thing to use by default So weird Not judging the OP, it just started as this tiny little app for a small subset of people with REALLY crap onboard soundcard drivers
- Is there an alternative to ASIO4All? - Cakewalk Forums
Ok But i have a Motu Ultralite MK3 Duo, and an Native Instruments Rig Kontrol 3 i want to use at the same time using ASIO WDM is treally unstable for the Rig Kontrol card I want to record through the Rig Control and playback to the Ultralite card I get sound out but Asio4all shows the Rig Kontrol as not connected
