Now I'm back living in the area, and DMV seems to be the accepted nomenclature I don't even hear DC Metro much anymore Does anyone recall when people started using DMV and perhaps what the drivers for the shift might have been? Admittedly, I'm still struggling to get comfortable with it, even after living here for the past 18 months
