The fronts are very predicatable, work okay, and haul me up pretty quickly The rears work well too, however are extremely noisy the runout is in spec, the calipers are clean, nuts tight, there are no excessive grooves in the disc, have coated the back twice (on two seperate occasions) with stop-squeal, have re-roughed the surface with 80-grade sandpaper , yet they still makes as much noise

Metal Gear - $40 Per set ($120 all up) EBC (from Wemoto com au) - about $50 per set ($150 all up) I have seen some good reviews on this forum re S3 Performance although it was a few years ago I won't ever be taking this bike on a race track So can anyone comment on S3 or metal gear from experience? or comment re pad choice thanks

Got the Hornbag back and it's running a LOT better now, the people who did the previous service removed my iridium spark plugs and replaced them with randoms (very annoying) so that's now fixed, plus a brake bleed and few other fluid changes

The brakes I take a little longer Especially if they are Brembo's Great caliper blocks but their rotors suck Way too soft So yeh brakes take about 1000k's but I don't brake much The suspension will take the the longest to bed in more so on a sports bike I do my rider static sag soon as I get it but leave the clickers alone

The tiny bypass port stops any pressure buildup in the system while the brakes are off If it weren't there, the brakes could start to drag as the fluid heated up and expanded It lets the fluid bleed back to the M C The piston blocks the bleed port when the brake is applied, uncovers it when you let go the brakes In a nutshell HTH

Clutch better than the brakes but was either on or off to some extent not much feel for slipping etc Gear Shift was smooth enough a few false neutrals were found thoguh Biggest gripe was the way the lever works On my bike when in 1st gear you can't actually push the lever down, so you can tell if you are in 1st or not
