What is for you the manufacturer that makes the best Fender Blackface type amps? I'm especially interested in a Twin Reverb as close to an original as possible in terms of construction and sound quality Is the Fender reissue that good? Thanks!

Funny, as great as that amps overdrive is, he bought it for the cleans He has a vintage blackface collection and swears the cleans are better than all of them Bill did do a slight mod on that amps power section, and the cleans were slightly better than stock, but I still feel the emmy may be the best all around amp ever made

The Plexi amps from the late 60's are a non master volume circuit so they must be deafening loud to get the great overdriven tones most are after They do have great cleans also but most folks want the overdriven tone that has been heard on countless recordings
